"Timber Innovations was a joy to work with from the beginning concept phase to the completion of our remodel. Paul worked to create samples and color match cabinetry which created an additional layer of impact to the beautiful craftsmanship and construction of the cabinetry. We were blessed with a quality design vision and the Timber Innovation Team brought that vision to life."
The bar is reminiscent of the interior of a fine vintage roadster with plenty of “chrome” in the form of brushed brass faucets and accent light fixtures.
Ode to Elkhart Lake Blue: A Corvette racing car color and perfect for the “Road America” racetrack themed den.
Grand Prix Cabinetry: On the fast track to style and sophistication
Award-winning custom cabinetry in remodeled condo; Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin: This recently purchased vacation condominium needed updating, including all cabinetry. The prefabricated standard cabinets were original from when the condo was built in 2003 and installed throughout many homes in the complex. The cabinetry in the kitchen, laundry room, and both bathroom vanities were all the same design.
Since the new cabinetry would define the form and function of each space, Timber Innovations was brought in to create each custom piece. The homeowners wanted cabinetry that was not only stylish, but built to help them live efficiently and work more effectively. They wanted low VOC plywood and finishes to be used wherever possible.
"Function, flow, and organized spaces are very important to our family. Not only are our cabinets beautiful on the outside, they create ease for organized living! Timber Innovations understand people, they are master builders and they know how to make working together a fun experience. Our family is beyond grateful for what Paul and his team have created for us!"
GOAL: Efficient storage v. storage space
In the kitchen, interior storage space and location is designed for specific tasks. The coffee/tea bar organizes all the items necessary for a good cup of joe. The appliance garage keeps clutter off the countertops. Drawers designed to organize pots, pans, and lids are located near the stove. Drawers to hold dishes are placed near the dishwasher for easy clean up and storage. The stained Rift White Oak on the island and inside the cabinets provides a nice contrasting warmth to the low VOC painted wall cabinetry.
Wardrobes and Vanities
Storage ingenuity: New bathroom vanities have top drawers fitted around the sink basin in order to maximize storage space. Walk-in closet wardrobe has designated spaces for footwear and a secured section to keep valuables safe.
Laundry
Tall, built-in closets made of Poplar are perfect for hanging clean clothes, as well as storing mops, brooms, and other cleaning appliances. Unexpected tactile leather pulls make this work space feel special.
Home Office
Be the envy of your fellow Zoom attendees! A wall of built-in cabinets with woven cane panels creates a commanding backdrop for the executive desk with Mahogany desktop.
Grand Prix Den
The new den is as luxurious as the interior of a fine vintage roadster. Plenty of “chrome” in the form of brushed brass drawer pulls and accent lights. There are miles of display surfaces for the homeowners’ racing memorabilia and ample storage space to hide non-decorative items.
From the kitchen, to the new home office, and the stunning racing themed den, the custom-made cabinetry throughout plays a major design role in this condominium remodel. Each handcrafted piece is the central element in their respective location, setting the tone and style for the room.
